Notes of Sunday School Class 1/15/12

Daniel and his three friends we actually kidnapped and brought to Babylon. At the close of his three years of training in the royal schools, Daniel was distinguished for his proficiency in the "wisdom" of his day, and was brought out into public life. He soon became known for his interpretation of dreams and rose to the rank of governor of the province of Babylon, and became "chief of the governors" over all the wise men of Babylon.

MISHAEL(Meshach) (To feed; who is like God)
HANANIAH (Shadrach) (God is Gracious))
AZARIAH (Abednego) (Whom God helps)

Ezek 40:2,3
In the visions of God brought he me into the land of Israel, and set me upon a very high mountain, by which was as the frame of a city on the south. And he brought me thither, and, behold, there was a man, whose appearance was like the appearance of brass, with a line of flax in his hand, and a measuring reed; and he stood in the gate.

Ezek 47:1-5
Afterward he brought me again unto the door of the house; and, behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the house eastward: for the forefront of the house stood toward the east, and the waters came down from under from the right side of the house, at the south side of the altar. Then brought he me out of the way of the gate northward, and led me about the way without unto the utter gate by the way that looketh eastward; and, behold, there ran out waters on the right side. And when the man that had the line in his hand went forth eastward, he measured a thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the waters were to the ancles. Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through the waters; the waters were to the knees. Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through; the waters were to the loins. Afterward he measured a thousand; and it was a river that I could not pass over: for the waters were risen, waters to swim in, a river that could not be passed over.

1. GRATITUDE (Father, I thank Thee) ANKLES
2. AFFIRMATION (For I knew that thou hearest me always) KNEES
3. EXPECTATION (Lazarus, Come Forth!) LOINS
4. LIBERATION (Loose him and let him go) WATERS TO SWIM IN

• In the beginning GOD (not in the beginning oh problem of MINE)

• Our FATHER which art in heaven (not MY PROBLEM which art on earth)

• This is the doctrine of Christian Science, that divine LOVE (GOD) cannot be deprived of its manifestation or object 304:9 (Does not say your problem can’t be deprived of your manifestation of it)

• Platform point #1: Definition of GOD. (not a definition of your problem)

Don’t start with your problem, always start with God.

Go to the Scientific Translation of Immortal Mind vs the Scientific Translation of Mortal Mind. Which is easier. Trans of Imm. Mind is how we pray. Trans of MM is the human view of what happens.

We have to let go of matter in order to be spiritually free.
